Hi all,

After my off on Tuesday, my patience could wait no more and I bought a new upper fairing (round the headlights) for my K3 pointy, which is due to be delivered on Tuesday.

I was wondering if anyone had any detailed instructions on the removal/replacement of this? I'm sure I could probably figure it out as I go along, but always handy to have a reference and hopefully stop my accidently snapping any hidden lugs!

(p.s also ordered my grips, bar ends, brake lever, indicators and a Fuel exhaust, so bike should be back to its best come Tuesday evening!)

Thanks!

u dont need instructions its a piece of pi$$, i would remove the screen then clock cowel, unplug the clock then unbolt the sub frame off the main frame and carry the lot onto the kitchen table to play with :)

Fair do's, but as easy as that sounds, I still like to have a reference! :)

Do a search on here. I did and found a link to the suzuki instructions that someone had scanned in that you can download and print off.

Thanks for the linky, didn't think to check there! Thats just what I needed, a handy reference. Might take the existing one off tomorrow ready for the new one on Tuesday!

If the old one is broken you can take it off with an axe and a 14 pound sledge hammer, makes seeing the fittings easier.

This is a joke by the way
