Today was too hot---sweated my cobblers off. I can see the fascination of riding with jeans and t-shirt but I'm just not brave enough
29c and every vent in my suit and helmet open and I still melted

That's why I've got a mesh jacket. Feels like a T-shirt when you get moving but is made of plate armor.

I thought Id made the right move today wearing textiles with the padded lining out but am wondering about some draggin jeans and one of those mesh jackets - today was far to hot - even the breeze going along on the bike was hot!
I cant recall getting this hot years ago.

I had a pair of jeans and my leather jacket(lining taken out) to go down to the shop(about 7 miles round trip) and couldn't wait to get back home.
I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.

Hot here in Shropshire too. I'm not complaining, October to April will be grey and dismal. I saw a bloke at Craven Arms - one piece leathers round his waist, no T shirt, skin a very angry looking red-pink with darker red blotches - TBH it really didn't look good, I'd have been off up the doc's. He had to pull the leathers over badly burned skin. Owwwwwwwwww.

Liz and I popped out for about an hour, just down the local bike shop for a wander around and then home again.
I can confirm though that the EDZ undersuit I bought really does make a huge difference especially when trying to get your leathers off. Normally I have to fight my way out of mine on a hot day. Today they just slid off. Much better.
We popped over to Cambridge to see Sean today. Was lovely on the move, but blooming hot otherwise.
We have the Lidl's heat regulating gear..........and ditto to Fizz's comment about your leathers not sticking:D
