Pihi boots

I managed to find a pair of Pihi leather touring boots at an outlet shop for next to nothing, in great condition, glove leather interior, toe reinforcement, etc.

Anyway, I can't seem to find much info about the maker. Italian, they also made a race boot, the Bieffe, but no info on street/touring boots.

Is anyone familiar or have any experience?
