Had an insurance policy for if I was made redundant, got hurt, couldn't work etc, which I didn't know that I had until my financial advisor told me :smt102

I have filled it in, got my doctor to fill thier bit in (At a cost of £17.50) robbing gits and sent it off.
Had a letter from them on Saturday saying that they were contacting my employer to see when it was I last worked, so all things being equal, it looks as though they are going to pay out.
This will ease my financial burden greatly & put me in a good mood for the 1st time this year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Nice one, alot of people take this out with their mortgage without even realising, you would be mental not to really.

My girlfriend may be needing to make use of ours dpending on which parts of Alliance & Leicester they start getting rid of first when they become Abbey lol

Ours pays your mortgage and supplies you with the wage that you left on for 6 months.

Yes I was told that this paid my mortgage, but they just asked for my gross pay, so I hope it's my wages for a couple of months. Anything is better than nowt :)
Good Luck with the ladies job, hope she keeps it.
