Im loving Biffy Clyro-"Mountains",
It's good, is that. Though I prefer their older stuff, bit more dynamic. Northwind's puny arm:

I'm stuck on MGMT just now, after accidentally seeing them at T in the Park and discovering they're ace. Kids is such a great song. Not really my sort of music but quality's quality.
And this:

I was lucky enough to be there for this one, probably the best festival closer I've ever seen. And I don't even like the killers  Been listening to this a lot lately
And Pendulum... Even though I'm more :smt035 than :dj:, they're a pretty incredible live band. If you've heard "The Other Side" and thought "this is rubbish", don't worry, it is... But they can do better :smt045

Stuff.....
And Pendulum...
They are awesome (IMHO of course)
A few of my mates aren't into Drum & Bass at all, but still said they loved some of their stuff, like blood sugar (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=K3ZihD4hCsY&feature=related) for example (although to be fair they're not 'proper' D&B)
:rave: :D

I've been quite stuck on "you're Gonna Go Far Kid" from the new Offspring album, haven't heard anything decent from them for a while.
and after the recent thunderstorms I can't get "Down Under" by Men At Work out of my head heh, "Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? you better run, you better take cover......." :)

stone roses
Bit of an obscure one but when I was a littlefoot, they used to rehearse in my dads shed, not sure which song it was but the video with flames behind the band was done less than 100 yards from there, I watched them perform and film live :)
my oddball claim to fame anyhow.
Dizzy Rascal ft Calvin Harris - Dance with me
Dunno if its in the radiogram right now :D but cant get ''daydreamer'' by Adele, out of my head, good album that 19.

Ian Brown lives not far from me you know, I go into Dawsons music in Warrington fairly frequently with me daughter to get drumsticks etc and always just seem to miss him by a few mins, sorry I derailed your thread

Woah. Just listening to the new Frank Turner album Love Ire and Song, and instantly I Knew Prufrock Before He Got Famous is a favourite song. Fantastic stuff...
"Yeah, well life is about love, lost minutes and lost evening
About fire in our bellies and about furtive little feelings
And the aching amplitudes that set our needles all a-flickering
And they help us with remembering that the only thing that’s left to do is live"

It's not on the radio yet (and probably wont be) but "A life less ordinary" by The Levellers. It's off their new album that's out soon & I must say it's back to the way they used to sound :)

Only old stuff for me.
Van Halen- Light Up The Sky (it's my fave VH song- Oh I wish they'd bring their tour to Blighty)
Dream Theater- Voices - just got the music and a backing track for it. Oh that guitar solo!
And I may shove some Floyd on later.
Seether at the minute for me. Both for listening and jamming.
Ooh Sleipnir, Odin's horse n'est pas? ;)
oooh yes Odin's mighty horse. Any song about a battle horse with many legs has to be worth listening too!!
ALL men play on 10
MANOWAAAAAAAR!!!!!!

I can't believe Manowar are still going. Who'd have thought that wearing loincloths would lead to career longevity?
