View Full Version : I Think I'm In Love... with my New Fuel Exhaust

After weeks of putting it off I finally got around to ordering a new exhaust from Fuel. I spotted on their web site that their prices were to increase slightly from the beginning of August so that gave me the push to get my finger out.

Exhaust arrived on Wednesday, fitted it on Thursday evening and have been grinning ever since. Don't know why I didn't do it earlier! :D :D :D

I have to say that the exhaust is superb in all respects: build quality, packaging, ease of fit, and of course the NOISE.

Took me less than an hour to fit, including chopping off the old drainpipe with a hacksaw. Not bad at all for a mechanical numpty such as myself.

I should also mention that the service I received from Fuel was superb; fast delivery, e-mails confirming order, shipping date, etc., and the Kendal mint cake was delicious.

Anyway, here are a couple of pics:

A view from the rear (oo-er missus) with the baffle removed; tested on a private racetrack of course ;)

Where did you get your belly pan from? I like it

Yes I know. I'm afraid I'm not much of an extreme angles rider. :( Not been riding long (about 18 months) and the SV is quite a change from what I'm used to (a Varadero 125).

I must remember to get the sandpaper out before I take a pic of my rear tyre again.

Nooooo, it took me weeks to pluck up the courage to saw through the OEM exhuast. I'm not about to go and mutilate my nice new shiny Fuel exhaust.

It's a Skidmarx belly pan. Pretty decent quality, simple to fit and not a bad colour match. I like the shape of it; it's curvy and pointy all at the same time.
