i like the single swingarm and fat tyre but thats about it, i reckon standard ar5e would look better with twin under seats

Yep it is one colour as the guy did allot more, he did for some bizarre reason pick yellow, the colour of ladies. Also build his own MV styled tank, there is lots more about it on the main site (http://www.sv650.org/mvsv/mv-sv.htm) if you have a look. Those are just the early photos and it was all done back before the nasty pointy came out if I remember right.

It's slightly better looking in all one colour, but it still looks like half a tractor and half a Lada welded together. IMO.

That be Tygaboy's bike.

And here is the finished article...

Its an amazing piece of engineering. Very much a one off. I believe that it was up for sale a few months back, not sure if he sold it though.

If you would like to know more about this bike please consult your local Barf.

I remember when he was doing it! The tank is a pretty special, but that front fairing?? I'm not convinced.

Front fairing is hideous, other than that its a very nice piece of work. The fairing just doesnt work with the lines for me

I disagree, I love to see air between the tyre and seat unit on bikes, it looks quality. Just my opinion though. :D

Its a little bit of a Marmite bike ain't it.

I think its fantastic but on an engineering level more than anything. Reading about all that has been done to the bike inspired me, if only I had his skill...

And Luke, that tank is more than a little special - its Carbon Fiber, custom built by the owner. Now were did I put my CSM?

The front of curveys are hideous though. I've always thought they looked Kenneth Williams like

The front fairing is dodgy as hell.......looks like a stretched 600rr fairing

Love what he has done though, great work

Looks like a Tyga NC30/35 replacement fairing to me. Not the prettiest in the world, but the rest is very nicely done

Its a RC211V replica fairing, most probably from Tyga...

You are both correct, it is a Tyga fairing made to replicate the RC211V and designed to fit on either a RVF400 NC35 or the VFR400 NC30.

It doesn't suit the bike well, it matches the seat unit and tank a bit but they themselves don't match the frame.

I love the single sided swing arm. Would love to get my SV looking like that (different plastics though).

Looks like the swingarm was from a VFR750, as required least modding.

How much would a swing arm like that cost (not taking into account the exhausts etc- I'd rather see twin underseat than the MV pipes, myself). Had a quick scoot about, but could find nothing. I guess I'd need the wheel too...

Honda VFR750 (non-RC30) swingarm fits in with less hassle, the RC30 swingram used above is a better looking one but requires a bit more work.

Cool. Cheers Dave.

And the wheel would have to be specific for a single sided too, I guess?

What's the odds of getting one in good nick from a breaker's yard? Based on the usual verbal stat that bikes more often go down on the right (as told every time I've asked about fairings...).

Aye, for simplicity.
