Brilliant phone but I know of three seperate people having screens packing up. They got replacements no quibble, just a bit inconvenient really.

phone for your pac number...tell them you can get a better deal with o2. wait a couple of days. Then they call you to see why you are wanting to leave tell them about the other deal. I got my for 12 month contract, free phone £35 month 750 minutes 500 text and free internet.

I love my N95, but I'm waiting till October to upgrade to get the N96. 16Mb of memory, plus a card slot. The headphone socket is on the top not the side, so unlike the 95 you can actually put it in you pocket when the headphones are plugged in. There are a number of other small changes which I think it's worth waiting for. They say the pre-release samples don't seem quite as rugged as the 95 though.

What a nerd I am!

I have the N82 (apparently the GPS is better than the N95)

As a phone it's fine. As a GPS it's pants - it got me lost in Hungary & took me to the wrong country (I was supposed to be heading for Romania & it bloody well took me to no-man's land in Serbia - where the guards thought I was a spy).

The camera, yeah it's 5 megapixels but it's a bit mediocre. I'd stick to using my digital camera.

Kinvig - Have you tried downloading Google Maps. It's free and miles ahead of Nokia Maps. Also. if you've not done it already a firmware upgrade may get you Assisted-GPS where the phone uses a combination of cell tower triangulation and satellites instead of just satellites and it's much faster to get a good lock.

I have the 73 Quiff, very good phone and the bonus is that you can get a tom tom package for them, I bought mine for it and still havent got round to getting one for mine as of yet lol. I love Nokias, simple to use.

I can't speak for the 8G version but the older one has proved unreliable for me with the camera going faulty and the web application packing up completely. The replacement I have now (number 4, it's a long and dull story) has a later firmware version (the original O2 version would not upgrade) and the new maps software. So far it has not done any random reboots and the battery life is about double the original. The GPS is much better as well. Not sure at the moment If I'd have another Nokia. The Sony jobs (and older Nokias for that matter) of the past were much better IMHO.
