View Full Version : Tail tidy for the gixxer!!!
It had to be done, first on the list was to get rid of the hunk of plastic on the rear. Why do they waste money on sculpting something so unnecessary when a neat little bracket does the job just aswell and looks 1000 times better. Anyway job done.

Looks much better, what tail tidy is that ?
Now all you need to do is unbolt that dustbin from the side of your bike ;)

R & G tail tidy, was worth every penny even come with a nice little numberplate light.
Exhaust is the next thing on me list but will save up abit first would like a full system to get rid of the CAT, release some more power and noise!!!

I was gonna say - first thing on the list should be to replace Sputnik with something a little more desirable. Tail tidy should have been number 2 ;)
Looks cool!

Considering the tail tidy cost 10 times less than the exhaust i want i thought i'd get the tail done first as the exhaust actually makes a decent noise..

Do you think ^^^ they've made a mistake £430 for a full yoshi system and can. Surely it can't be?? :o

Nope, that's about right - I would have expected closer to £650 tbh.
Good improvement, get your exhaust from the states though.
I know a company that can get you the yoshi full system for under £300 delivered, no extra cost.

It's the law apparantly, the numberplate has to extend past the rear wheel or something silly like that.. Looks 1000x times better now, nice one :D
Very nice job too. Looks real sweet, but now it's an MOT failure...
as there is no red rear reflector. you can get a small stick on one and place it on your number plate. just an idea ;-)

Oh and lose those Chicken strips ;)

Ohh, hand bags... ;-)
"Chicken Strips" are the extra grip you have when you go into a corner and think... Ohhh Fook, don't look at the wall keep on the road,
, don't look at the wall keep on the road.. .....thank fook for that... now a left hander... don't look at the wall keep on the road...
and so on...
It's not a willy showing contest.:smt117so I'll put mine away..:smt103
enjoy riding.
Your always the first to mention the chicken strips. First pic was the day I got it and the second there isn't any. I've got some on the front but I think a track day would be the only way of sorting those out. About time you showed us your chicken strips if your the Greek god of them!

But tbh chicken strips dont matter... As long as you have fun, thats what counts imo. :D
How are you enjoying the 600?
Well got to hand it to you Greek I'm strugging to take the Mick ;-) . As for the 600 I'm loving it still getting used to the power delivery but I'm getting there. It's like a rocket when u get it right I'm still trying to remember that reving the pants off it is ok. It's so loud even at half it's revs sounds like your thrashing it everywhere but that's what it's designed for. Given a few chavs on scooters a fright it's brill. :-)

Ha ha yea. I hate it when it sounds like your engine is suffering even if it isnt. I think ive pretty much got used to the power of the falco now... though I need a new shock as this stock one is crap. Sometimes when I rag the bike out of a corner the back will buck and weave about terrably. Not really too great tbh. So thats £500 I have to spend
So when you going to lose that grenade launcher exhausts? I still cant beleive they put those on... Blasphemy! At least itll lose you a fair bit of weight (looking at it) when you do get rid. :D

Hopefully pay day at the end of the month will open up a few pennies for a new exhaust. Still not 100% on what to get Im edging towards the yoshi r55 though.
