I have a track bike with a straight through end can and I wondered where I can get the bike re mapped to run better. Or can this be done without specialist equipment?

What exhaust you got?

Have you got a slip-on can or is it a full aftermarket system?

With a slip-on, no, but with a full race system on then yes but the air filter will need to be replaced (if not already done).

Yeah, but cleans up the power delivery and thats more important than out right power.

No, no, no... its to OTT for the SV650, all that glamour and gizmo for a budget bike that has no relevance to the things it can offer. A good remap is the way to go, cheaper and equally as effective.

Don't need to tell you that though, your a deserter....

...but still a follower so I'll let you off. :p

Its a full race system with a straight through can.
Standard other than a pipercross filter (I think)

Might be worth doing, what system is it?

Actually its not a system we purchased but one we built ourselves. I will load some pics of what we made and post em. The headers are not complete yet just trying to make a decision on the routing, the whole thing is just a bit of fun really.
