sv650 k3...
i had a fault warning appear on the screen, FI or F1 hard to tell....turnes out it a fault code C42. meaning "ignition switch losing signal" might be the ignition wiring loom.
the bike only primes itself for aprox 1 sec than stops and goes no further, will not start. it seems to be an intermitant problem at the moment. always the best ones!!
any ideas what to do?

Disconnect and reconnect the ign switch a few times, inspect the connector for damage[1] and use some grease (I use vaseline although it's not the best) to protect it from corrosion.

I don't know what the ign is like on the k3, some bikes you can take the switch part apart and test connectivity etc from there.

Beyond that it's taking a multi-meter and start tracing wires, good luck!

[1] I had the power feed to the clocks corrode at the wiring block on mine. Give each of the wires a gentle tug, one may fall out. :(
