I'd guess you don't have a rebuilt left knee though ?

I have just started to sleep properly after my accident in January. I now get about 6 hours a night instead of the usual 2 -3. I feel better for it as well :)

No.... but....
They have been draining blood/fluid off of my right kneecap weekly since the crash. (6 July 2008 ) Constant pain there.
Hoping it wont have to be replaced with a plasic knee. They have been concentrating on my other injuries so far.
Still suffering from a shattered right collarbone although the broken ribs don't seem to hurt much anymore. Been replaced by my back hurting from having to sleep nearly sitting upright because of the collarbone.
Sorry to hear you're still in pain and unable to sleep mate. :(
Unfortunately..I do know where you are coming from.
But at least I can sleep a bit.

Not playing the " mines worst than yours" game at all but probably the worst is when I do actually get some sleep, the unbridled slam of pain on waking to find the knee totally seized up and the half hour to get the bloody thing moving again, I've learn if I have anything on first thing in the mornings to either not go to sleep or get up and moving a good couple of hours beforehand, being objective about it I guess the gravel in the joint feeling eases to mere rough sand after that, but I've still not got used to the change from sleep to pain first thing :smt103
still I watch a hell of a lot of the discovery channel :)
Oh and my coller bone only plays up in the cold, but then the break was almost 30 years ago ;)
Cheers Mark

Hearing talk, just as such, from every person who's ever had one doesn't bode well for a speedy recovery either. :(
