In keeping with my yearly tradition, I came off my bike tonight.
Went out for a wee bimble after tea, along the dually got to the arbroath circle and thought I'd go around it once just for the fun of it then into arbroath for petrol. I must of leaned it too far and maybe the tyres were cold, as I came around at the dually exit the bike just slid out and skidded across the circle and onto the grass. I was off the bike sliding on my ar$e.

I'm fine but the bikes all scratched and bent again and my new leathers are knackered. :(

nose fairing, side fairing, brake levers, throttle/grip, mirror, crash bung, exhaust, switch assembly

Thanks to the guy in the car for helping me pick my bike up and the nice guy on the ducati was it? for stopping and making sure I was ok.

Fekkin bummer mate. Glad you're okay, but it's gotta be every biker's worst nightmare.

Sorry to hear that you came off. Hope the damage is easily and cheaply repairable.

Hope that you are not too battered and sore. Better your leathers get damaged than you.

Darren, you're ok thats what really matters. The bike can be fixed/replaced.

Did the seat survive?

Yeh its fine:). I'm so glad the tail didn't suffer any damage, would have been gutted if the tail or the forks were damaged.
Replaced the rear brake lever today and took off the fairings to get fixed/painted. Need to phone R and G tomorrow to get a new bung.

Gonna see about getting the leathers repaired but not sure what's possible

Glad your OK. Hopeflly you find all the bits you need. Leathers bad?The ar$e on the trousers are worn through pretty bad, it's gone sort of white coloured. The stitching has burst. I can see through to the second layer of leather.

The elbow on the jacket is also worn but not as bad.
