Right last year some of you may know I crashed my SV =[ into the back of a car. It was my fault and I was only insured third party fire and theft so I kept it to repair and it also wasnt written off by the insurance company I might add.

I have slowly been buying and fixing the dmaged bike over time and now it is complete and back to standard.

I have replaced:

All the bodywork with the same colour bodywork (so this is literally band new unchipped or marked bodywork)
Headlight
Forks
Mudguard

Everything is totally standard and it really does look amazing as you can imagin with all the pristine parts on it.

Its going in for its MOT next weekend which it will pass im confident of.

Then after that it will be for sale!!

It has done 9500 miles approx with out going to look at the clocks

Ill put pictures up if any one is interested???

How much is it worth??

Thanks

Kyle

I'd say around £1500 given it's history if it's a well kept example, but I'm no expert and sorry if I offend

Would think it would be more than that

Thats an old naked SV with more miles and it is damaged and they are asking £1300 for it and i believe it is far from standard looks a mess in my opinion.

Head on crash damage mate, who knows what state the frame is in .. it's just one of those things

Unfortunately I'd have to agree that it isn't worth much knowing it's history. Maybe you would be better off not telling potential buyers the history, but I would like to point out that Im not encouraging this. That decision is one for your morals. I don't know what a history check would show for potential buyers. In hindsight you would probably have been better off stripping it for parts after the crash and sawing the frame in half. Just my opinion though.

Frame should be fine, it's the forks that buckle like paper mashe in an accident and the yokes can sometimes twist. If both of these are fine then there's a very good chance that the frame is straight!

The frame has all checked over to see if it is damaged and has been checked to see if out of alignment and it isnt, the impact was absorbed by the forks as the crash wasnt to bad. POintless selling it for bits in my mind as it is another bike off the road, dont know why you guys would want that =PP
