first service on friday, but already at 600miles

cant get my first service booked in until friday, i will cross the 600 mile mark tomorrow on the way to work, i assume it wont be too bad getting to about 800 miles before getting it serviced?

just posting as i have read that its quite an important service and do not want to damage my bike

You shouldn't have any issues, the first service is only an oil change and a walk around looking for anything loose.

Id check with the dealer to see if theres any warranty issues.They tend to say it must be done at a certain mileage + or - x% or so many miles.Then if they say theres a problem try and get them to do it sooner.

. girlfriends C4 has done 2800 miles and is still waiting for first service as dealer doesn't have time. If it's booked in then don't worry you'll be fine as long as you don't rack silly miles up before then.
