What a great day! nice to meet everyone again.
Thanks to Ed for organizing the ride out and thanks to Daryl and his good lady for the invite back to his home for tea and biccys.
a big well done to Lily for her riding today she did really well!
We must do that again when my wrists and ar$e have recovered :)

No. It's currently parked in the concrete shed at work. It is jsut a loose connection or something. There is a block of wires that when i squeeze them together keep the bike working. But as soon as i let them go the lights flicker and then it cuts out.

...So hopefully i'll walk to work and seal it closer with zip ties/selotape/anything to hand so i can ride it to the garage at least.

Will there be another rideout like this planned within the next month or so???

Neil's bung after he hit the bank. He came round a corner on the A488, and there was a f*ck off patch of gravel, bike went sideways and hit the bank at the side of the road. It didn't just hot the bank it dug in. I caught up at Knighton - poor dab was as white as a sheet. As you can see, it is covered in mud and crap, the gear lever was also covered in grass and brambles. It was a very lucky escape:

These are from not long before the end of the day. My immobiliser cut the bike out, which is why we stopped. It did it again on the top of the Thelwall Viaduct on the M6 on the way home! That's a high place, very scary too :(

Sorry about the random slow-downs on those two stretches of the A49 by the way, it's just I remembered seeing a scamera van on the way down on one of those bits on Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure if it got me or not but f**ked if I'm getting done twice in one weekend!! :lol:

Nah, only kidding, was good. Nice, gentle pace after trying to keep up with Pete for most of the day, and it was nice to be at the back for the last 10 miles or so. It's the kind of ride I tend to do on the way back from the pub with my flatmate :)
