Just wanted to introduce myself...

I'm Andrew, from Notts and just got my first bike - a new K8 pointy :p I've only just passed my test so i'm taking it really steady at the moment, but so far i'm loving the bike.

This forum seems like a pretty cool place from what i've been reading so far!

Welcome to the org. I'll be moving to the centre of Nottingham in October. I'll have to post a thread organising a little get together.

You'll have to show me some gems in terms of the local roads/scenery.

Theres quite a few locals now, we should get a regular weekly meet going at a nice scenic pub like other areas have.

I also pass along the ring road every day on the way to work, and then cut up through Sherwood. Hopefully from next week i'll be on the bike :)

Some cracking roads around north Notts and up into Derbyshire. I love the idea of a rideout, but I would have to go last, you would all be waiting for me! However I have booked on a Bikesafe on the 11th Oct so watch out after that. lol Welcome to the new peeps to Notts, not a bad place really. :)
