...I've got an interview in an hour for a job which could get me the moolah to be 100% debt-free in 4 months.
Wish me luck :)

Good luck matey. Remember to ask lots of Qs about the company...doesn't matter if you care or not gives you something to say and makes you look better;)
kick some ass:smt071
Either the job's incredible or you're an absolute amateur at running up debt.
Which is it?

No, these are my weekend jobs.
By the way, I've got a spare Wideboy, if you fancy taking him out for a spin on Saturday... :smt049

One guy there earned £8k in commission last month. He's way, way ahead of everyone else, but still.
Everything went fairly well, and I'm quite confident. I'll find out tomorrow :D

Mobile phone contracts, funnily enough. Moving from Vodafone to Carphone's O2 retentions team.
Not really ideal job for me, but the commission's good enough that I'll stick it out for 6 months, clear my debt, do tons of stuff to the bike and put enough away in savings that I can travel for a bit...then quit

Id need to be a drug dealer to get me debt free in 4 months. Best of luck
Got the call at 10:20 this morning. They wanted me to start...
...tuesday.
And I have to give a month's notice :(
So I spoke to my manager's manager and he's letting me quit on Friday so I can start Tues after a 3-day weekend :thumleft:
Congratulations !!!!! I bet you are really pleased and cannot wait to start and more importantly know that you will be debt free very soon :D
Well done !!!!! Will you be celebrating tonight or saving that til the weekend??
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Unfortunately, no money to celebrate as I'm currently moving house, too. I'm going to be sat here playing Gears of War, eating ice-cream and sipping Vodka.
I need people to come crash! Err, but not crash-crash. Just, y'know, hang-crash.

£8k a month commission?! I find that hard to believe tbh.. I hope you checked the figures closely.
Well done regardless though. Hope it goes well for you

Confirmed by multiple people. It was an exceptional month...average commission is 1.5-3k depending on what deals have been done. The guy who got that much is expecting to make 70k this year, though

and do they have any more vacancies please:D
Plenty, but I doubt it's a long-term career for anyone who's easily bored. I'm planning on sticking it out for 6-9 months, getting enough money together to clear debts, buy the stuff I want now, put a bit away, and then travel for 2-3 months. Then I'm going to quit.
Or maybe take a career break if the money turns out to be good enough that I don't care what I'm doing ;)

Oh - and there was me thinking we were talking about money worth getting out of bed for ;)
