Hi All,
This might turn into a bit of a ramble but I'll keep it as brief as I can, I am (over)due my 8000 mile service, I picked the bike up last October, am I right in thinking I have 12 months warranty? if it is 12 then I might be best risking the remaining portion and get it serviced independently. which leads me on to my next questions, how long is it likely to take? is it something I can lurk about while it's done or would I have to leave it? (this determines how far afield I can take it really) and how much is it likely to cost?

I suppose my agenda here is I'd ideally like to take it to mototech if possible as everyone recommends him so highly but is a little far away for me to get a lift back if I needed to leave it, hence the duration question. having said that I'm not even sure he does servicing but you get the general idea.

any thoughts or advice appreciated as always.

You had/have 2 years of manufacturer's warranty from the date of first registration as indicated on the V5.

hmm darn, wasn't sure if it was 1 or 2, might be worth keeping the dealer maintenance up then.
Thanks for the response.

Yeah was rounding a bit as it's a little academic given that its over both of them  need to pay closer attention to that.
Guess I'll give singletracker a call again in the morning, see if they answer this time.

Thanks for the replies people, much appreciated.
