bad, bad,bad...
left Dizzy in Wakefield and hit some Diesel or something, went down about 20-25mph, gear lever & footrest snapped off, lh front indicator hanging off, huge crack in lh fairing scuffs in fairing & seat surround. drove 48 miles home in 4th gear only! Broke my elbow, very painful, typing with right hand, VERY ****ed off, and it was a great night till then.
OUCH!
One to beam up...
Steve
Ooops. Sorry to hear this Steve.
Have you had the elbow looked at?
Hope you get yourself sorted soon. And the bike too ofcourse.

Sorry to hear that Steve.
GWS.
Sounds like minor damage to the bike hopefully.
Your kidding? Well I guess your not. Where abouts did you come a cropper?
I take it you've been to the hospital then? A broken elbow sounds a bit nasty.
I might be able to help with the fairing. Think I've got a LH one somewhere, it ain't showroom condition - but has nothing broken. Or didn't have last time I saw it. The other bits - I'm sure the helpful org can help out with.
Beer generally fixes things - I'd give that a try.

Hey Steve,
Get well soon fella. Broken bones heal quite quickly if they are not poking out of your skin.
As for broken SV's, I hope that it is not too expensive.
Hugs and empathy

Blue one?
Steve
It is\was.
It was one I bought that had been repaired - then the bottom half repainted. It's not a colour match - but it is in one piece.
If I can find it tonight I'll bring it over to Hull tomorrow and try to meet up with ya.
If not, I'll find it over the weekend.

Ouch, sorry to hear this man.
Can you not pop along to the sick bay when they beam you up and get Bones to waggle his funny noise making lights flashing thingy over your elbow and cure it that way?
Fracture clinics are sooooo yesterday darhlink.

I hope your break isn't too bad and it mends quickly for you.
I broke mine playing football in May and had it wired up the day after it happened, 3 months later and I've just got rid of the last of the bruising.
Have you still got the original indicators on? I have one I can send to you if you wanted.

GWS, and just don't play any drinking games where you're not allowed to point and use your elbow instead!
