Somewhere to buy repacking material for my end can please. Ive found all the "how to"s i need and all i need to do now is get the material and get on with the job.
But can i find it? Can i hell!
So c'mon Oh Mighty Org-ers get suggesting please.
I did a trackday this week and limit was 105db and mine was tested and was at 109db. I put the baffle in and they let me out on track but after the 1st session i noticed the baffle had fallen out :( And G-Force who made the can have no ceased trading i've discovered so i cant get it from them.
Oooh look what I found after a quick look on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EXHAUST-PACKING_W0QQitemZ270244130917QQihZ017QQcategoryZ25 623QQcmdZViewItem).
And there is more... (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=exhaust+packing)

It's half the price here, took a while to deliver when I ordered from them though.

That stuff's carp. Try find somewhere that'll sell you the knitted sleeve type stuff like fuel use on their cans.

Worth a go, they wouldn't sell me parts, though they did offer to repack it for me
Don't use loft insulation either, did mine with that and then chased pete and lissa for 200 miles, it sounds empty already.

If I had packing in mine I would get replacement packing from here (http://www.aa16.co.uk/a16exhaustparts.htm).

They sent me the carp stuff which didn't last half as long as the fuel stuff.
The aa16 stuff lasted way longer then some rockwool from the loft though :-P

Not sure if they still do it, but M&P uesd to do a woven blanket of the stuff for about a fiver, cut to size and wire in place it lasted well and you could normally get two repacks out of the one blanket.
Cheers Mark.
