OK, don't get me wrong, I would never wish any kind of illness on anybody.

BUT, if you were taking a phone call from your doctor to tell you whether you had the big C or not, any normal person surely wouldn't want that broadcast on national TV, unless they were trying to garner a bit of sympathy no?

Thats a step too far in my opinion and hopefully it will spell the beginning of the end for the scourge of our society that is reality tv.

I would give her the benefit of the doubt and say she wasn't expecting a positive result in the slightest

Yeah, I don't think anyone would expect to get that call. Broadcasting it was a bad decision imo. It wasn't live; they could easily have let her have some privacy.

I think its been staged in order to get her some "good" PR.

Harsh but I dont like her and think she should be the last person to be on TV

Agreed.
She did this before on one of the endless carp programs she was on.Collapsed on live tv and got filmed being taken away in an ambulance.Naff all wrong with her of course.

I would have thought a 'celebrity' with her clout could have had that pulled before airing, sorry to say I think she,s a publicitiy hoar.

Apparently she needed this job as she's had no work of late. Ever since the racist issue she's been out of work, so had to take a ****ty job like this.

Mind you, I watched the reaction on youtube, so I'm hardly one to judge.

I don't watch reality TV. My way of hoping it f*cks off.

I also refuse to watch anything starring a "celebrity" whether they are dancing, cooking a curry or conducting a f*cking orchestra. So you were vaguely good at one thing (carp actor, sportsman/woman, reality tv star, could cook and look good....) and now you're no longer good at that I couldn't give a flying full throw that you're rubbish at something else.

Rant over.

Cervical cancer must be frightening. I feel sorry for her. But I don't see the need to broadcast it everywhere.

I feel for her, but I agree with everyone why go public?

They have it in the early stages so hope she gets over it all OK, I fear this will be in the news alot now ..... I wonder if she will make a thing out of it and try and use it to promote cervical cancer awarness.

I had a smear test years ago and needed a retest, never went back cause I was scared of result ..... this has made me think twice and I will now be getting tested. Her being so young and all that, you never think it'll happen to you.

Hope she uses it to do good and hope she gets over it ok.

She's been told without treatment she'll be dead within three months so she's having a hysterectomy next week-don't matter what we think of her wouldn't wish that on anyone-she is thick and has no common sense but end of the day she's a mum to two wee boys so I hope she recovers.

That's the important bit. It's not their fault their mum's a desperate attention seeker. Poor liitle chaps.

When / where was it broadcast ?

As I understood it (from Sky news) she was informed whilst in the Diary Room of the Indian BB house - but it WASN'T broadcast - it was a private call with none of the cameras broadcasting - or did I misunderstand it ?

It was shown on the bbc lunchtime news on weds or thurs of last week, hardly constitutes news to me tbh, dont wish her any harm btw, she,s done nowt to me, but why allow it to be publicised ? then you could hear the monotonous drone of that other media hoar, max clifford, if he,s involved you know theres money somewhere, parasite.
