You might need to stick with it till your power expectation adjusts, usually takes me a couple of weeks at least to learn a new bike and have the power ready for overtakes n stuff, like learning a new job or girlfriend sort of thing.

Mabozzar-if you want to write like that its your choice mate;) but as i said if you want people to post back comments /opinions etc on what you post you'll need to write it so that they will be able to read it:confused:-its hard enough for some people south of the border to understand the scottish accent :smt108 when its been spoken to them never mind written, but if you decide to continue to write the way you have its your choice-

...an the fact that your Scottish ye want me tae Write in English rather than ma native tongue

I'm British mate-passport says so ,loyal to the crown, god save the queen, true to the red, white and blue, etc:)
your native tongue is Gaelic anyway;)

From Hamilton so I speak the same as you but choose not to write that way-peace to you man:jocolor:

I would expect a 650 SV to have less power than a bandit 1200! You'll get used to it again though, just need to readjust. Front feels juddery? Sounds like it needs balancing to me.

Loving it 8)
But I see why you Jocks tend to post everything in SV Ecosse :D

Anyway, just make sure it's not restricted. If it can achieve way more than 110 then you can strike that off.
And the front, well welcome to budget SV suspension, although surprised it's any worse than a Bandit

I reckon, Husky posting :winner: was him attempting to end the tit for tat and accepting that "it takes ALL tae make up this GREAT British Empire...so nuff said eh" ;)

He obviously isn't looking for real advice or comments, if so he would be more serious about it.

Maybe, maybe not.
I certainly don't find it as offensive as txt spk or just lazy poor spelling/grammar.
Just goes to show the rich tapestry that makes up life in this great country :D

Now, if you can't answer the man's question .... it's not IB you know ;)

yourll have to get used to shifting through the gears a lot compared to riding the 12 around in 3rd or 4th gear all the time. and yea, i know what you mean about the front of the sv compared to the bandit. i think the weight distribution on the bandit puts a lot more weight on the front to make it more planted compared to the sv.
if you ahve it in the right gear it shouldnt feel like a 250. after i ride the bandit 12 and then go onto the sv it doesnt feel that much slower in terms of acceleration. allways puts a smile on my face.

Having ridden both....

The engine on the B12 has more torque and more outright power. On the downside the bandit weighs rather a lot and doesn't carry it too well. If you're over about 10 stone, you'll probably benefit from changing the fork springs and oil to suit you. In fact, if this hasn't been done recently, just change the oil anyway. Old oil makes things feel rather duff, and the front end's pretty softly sprung.
