Makes everything a little yellow (well mine does).

I have heard people say it added extra dazzel, but it works lovely in my KBC. It wouldn't fit in the Caberg and I missed it, you just need to remember to keep it clean as people forget to wipe it as it does get a little 'greasy' on the inside from lots of road use. I use it all hours...

As already stated, some people find it adds a little dazzle to night time riding. Also bear in mind that it does not go fully clear.

I have the hyper optiks and find it great, not dark at all and agree the scene is slightly blue. I have mine on a KBC and was told it would be OK only to find out that I should not have fitted one.....I found this out because the visor lock pin on the visor snapped off because the insert was slight too high and snagged on the rubber seal on the helmet. Still use it though, just have to make sure the visor is fully down.

Have a normal fogcity on my black visor, a hyper optics on my clear/winter one. First thing I do when i get a new lid. Bloody brilliant.

Having the HyperO. insert certainly helps in low sun (turns a more noticable blue), better than clear although nowhere near as good as black.

Arai specific to, so perfect fit.

That sums up my experience exactly. I'm a pinlock convert these days.

+ 1. Far less maintenance also, I can't remember the last time I needed to clean it.

I had one on my old lid. I tended to take it out for night rides though because of the dazzle. Seemed to make the lights at night blur.

Only one way to find out.

Maybe I'm odd, gave mine a wipe down last night when I cleaned the bugs off and had no problems at all.
