I'll be up for this. Want to meet somewhere around Hinckley, I'll show you some of the north Leics roads heading to MM?
We could meet you at Lutterworth for the run to Melton if that's any good to you?
Would be nice to have your company:D

I'll be along, was thinking of heading to Melton via the north of Leics though, some good back roads that way :D (Desford/Markfield/Rothley/Syston)
Where abouts in Melton you stopping/meeting & what time?
Ok, how about meeting at Aunty Ruth's Diner at 9. Then on to Melton to the co-op for 11am.
That suit you?:D

Sounds great.
Can't give a definite answer until Friday. My wife may have to go back into hospital:(.
If not we'll both see you there!
Its only 102 miles to the Co-op so I could have been tempted - but I am busy this weekend :(

I think we'll be heading past your way on the way upto Melton and then onto Harborough, if you want to come along for a spin before the main meet?
Im meeting Pete & Lissa at Auntie Ruths, next to Paynes on the A5 at 9am, then head up through Shilton/Desford etc.
Disclaimer: but not if the weather like it is just now

Thanks, but we have to go to Shearsby tommorow morning, so will go straight to Harborough from there.
Should get there about 12:30-12:45, in time for the 1:30 set off time from Rockingham sports and classics.
Disclaimer: +1 but not if the weather is like just now ;)

if it stops it raining ill give it a ruddy good try lol
Glad the weather has cleared up a bit. Hopefully it won't reduce the numbers doing this too much. Such a shame if the animal shelter suffers because of the rain:(

Oi ! I'm the only one who has the power to de-bitch you :smt079
Certainly a day of two halves.
Good start to the day with brekkie at Auntie Ruths with DMC and Plowsie. Shame we'd left before you arrived ETO.:smt047
Up to Melton where we met up with the sole representitive of Ducatisti on his Monster and a couple of Melton bikers. Down to Market harborough for a cup of tea at a deserted Midland Superbikes before going to the official run meet point. It's a classic car dealership that also sells new Guzzis and Enfields. There we meet up with paiste1, Tanis and his lady.
All this in teeming rain
Slow but well organised ride over to the shelter, where free tea and coffee were dispensed and hot food could be bought. I opted not to look around knowing how sad I would feel about the discarded pets. I reckon at least 50 bikes made the run, if not more, and were rewarded by glorious sunshine all the afternoon. Also met up with paiste1's (Dan) other half.
Top day out and made more so by the company who we shared it with.
Only the best will do.

Just got in from work.
Thought I better wash the bike when I got home from Huncote and had to go out before getting a chance to post.
Really enjoyed today. Was a good first ride for me. I agree the pace was a little slow, but the scenery was nice and the weather really was great from the moment we set off from Rockingham.
Was good to meet up with some of you.(Pete, Lissa, DMC, Plowsie, ETO and Tannis).
Thanks for making me feel welcome.
Heres looking foward to the next ride out;)

Thanks for letting me tag along peeps and making it a really enjoyable day.
I only got back at 11.30 so washed the bike down with a little degreaser and soap without water.
Good to meet new peeps :) Ride safe and see you all soon.
Just thought those who did this run would like to know that £1800 was raised on the day for the animal shelter!
How good is that!:smt026:smt026:smt026
