oK im fighting the bald patch with a sophsticated comb over with a bit of hair wax. Now im going to be commuting soon and have the issue of what to do with the wax/helmet issue.

So what do you guys do?

Bite the bullet and shave it off. Number 2 all over, that's what I get and you don't have to worry about it!
Come-overs are more of a turn-off!

dax wax - proper sticky - doesn't come off your hair for like 2 washes... and it's good for restyling after you get your lid off.

you need a "hairmet" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H7vQDm7xEM) ;)

LMAO Love the hairmet

However, IMHO you should get the clippers out much better and sexier than a wrapover ;)

Try some of the microfibre putty stuff. This fructis one i've been using doesn't really wear off in your helmet and you can restyle it throughout the day! :)

get some hair spray, then when you get to work just go shoooooosht shooooooooooosht shooooooooosht shoooooooooooosht shoooooooooooooooooooooooooosht shoooooooooooosht shooooooooooooooooosht until it is combed over just as you like it

or just shave it off
or keep you helmet on all day like that girl with the cold sore, but don't go swimming
or wear a swimming cap inside your helmet and maybe that will keep it in place
or superglue your hair in place
or quit you job
or visit the advanced hair studio and get some new hair like that cricketer

I throw some wax into my hair when I get in the office in a morning.

I go through periods of having my hair shaved and then just letting it grow when I cba to sort it out!

nice to find someone else lazy enough (or not vain enough?) to not go to the barber every month

i usually go in 6 month cycles, from grade 8 to shoulder length and back:D

I use surf wax, it's great for post-helmet restyling.

That's the gear I use. It's top stuff and pretty cheap too. Never comes off inside your lid either.

Shave off the hair and grow a beard.

I have tried that but its taken me 3 months and if i go out in th rain it washed off. Not good for somone getting closer to 30 than 13...

Ive tried that dax wax before and yes it doesnt come off but it doesnt work with the combover as its too sticky so it clumps up and looks pap.

I like the idea of a hairmet :)

embrace your inner baldness!

shaving your head is one of the most satisfying things in the world. I had issues with receding hair and thinning on the top deck since i was at uni. Now I'm 27 and have given in to shaving it off.

best move ever, low maintenance, saving money on haircuts, no hat / helmet issues and best of all my girlfriend prefers it short.

on the downside cashiers at the supermarket call me sir if I'm in my suit and old people try to strike up conversations about things that predate color TV.

ps. check your head for lumpy bits before you shave, i had a friend who shaved his off before realising he had a head like a potato covered in lumps and bumps and he looked like the ****ing elephant man! lol (we were understanding. . .obviously)

Use a balaclava. The Balaclava will take all the nastiness of gel not your helmet. Then just chuck the balaclava in the wash.

OR SHAVE!!
