Will this fit my K8?

In my quest for a (cheap) solution to carrying my gear to work without a rucksack (nothing doing in the For Sale or Wanted sections on here), I've found this => http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a161/nobbylad/svrack.jpg

The bike was an '04 I think so by my reckoning should fit my '08 bike (looks like Givi did '99-'02 racks and then '03-onward).

Am I right?

Also, it comes as is, rack + plate, but no fixings...am I right in thinking it uses the grab handle fixings or will I need additional fixings (and if so, what are they)

Right, be careful about this. I have a givi rack, and the top plate (where the topbox attaches) but I have some sturdy bars that attach on the subframe and at the pillion peg mounts; as far as I am aware this is how the box is mounted (its stronger). I take it you've got the bars aswell?

It should fit, I dont think there are any subframe changes apart form those between curvy and pointy models.

Was gonna pm you fella, seeing as you are reputed to be the master of all boxes that sit on top!

Anyway...here's the puppy....looks like it's exactly what I'm after, do I need different fixings for the rear pillion mounts or can I recycle the bolt that's in (presumably it's not long enough to go through the bars and the mounts?). Also, does it just hang over the pillion seat mounts or does it bolt in?

It's coming without any fixings (other than the ones holding the plate to the rack), so need an idea of what I might need and how much it might cost.
