Hi, just picked up absolutely stunning 55reg SV650s and must say the 20mile drive back has been a real pleasure (i'm comparing this to the new ZX6-r, CBR1000rr, and GSXR 600 srad - I've had all three - please don't ask why I parted company with them but the wife has got something to do with it!!!) Anyway this bike is really mint only 1057 miles and looks like it's just come out of the showroom. Having got it home I've given it a good going over ........tyre pressures, chain tension etc, all ok, but cant find a coolant reservoir.............anyone know where??? I hope it's not under the tank:(

It is well kind of is. If you look underneath LHS of the seat just where the seat bolts onto the bike, in between the last sections of triangular frame the coolant resevoir is the white plastic bottle in there.

It was flying for the lowestoft air show and i was there! What a fantastic sight, they dont make em like they used to!
As for the coolant, on my curvy its below the tank remove infills, riders seat and the two screws on the front end of the tank hinge up the tank and there it is....................... Not sure on the pointy but its probably similar!?

back where she belongs.... Hi thanks for that, I guess you too were at Waddington this year to witness this great event(thats where I took this pic). God bless those wonderful people for getting this bird into flight after so many years.

I hope you don't know that you can just look through the frame to check the reservoir level  Otherwise its a lot of effort to go to for something so simple ;)

Its frosted and about as clear as mud though, needed to lift the tank to make sure.
