I am seriously considering a belly pan for my 05 SV650S in red.
I am less than impressed with my Powerbronze hugger (it feels so flimsy!) so I am tempted to opt for the Suzuki OEM offering - at £246. But that is an awful lot of money for such a little piece of plastic. :(
So, oh knowledgable orgers, let me know what belly pan you have got on your pointy: is it sturdy, was it easy to fit and are you are pleased with it? Is the Suzuki option worth the money or can I save myself a few quid?? [-o<

Sorry 'bout that, I am after a belly pan but I am a bit dubious about buying another powerbronze one (or indeed any other non OEM brand) because I am not very happy with the quality of my hugger. That is the only bit of plastic I have added to my bike, so it is the only thing I have to go on in terms of quality. So I am leaning towards an OEM belly pan as I figure that should be the best you can get and should avoid the same flimsiness I experienced with my hugger - and the extra £££'s that means.
The reason for this assumption is that my OHs bike has an OEM (albeit Triumph) hugger and his is far superior to mine.
But am hoping someone will be able to recommend a belly pan that is a reasonable price, looks good, but still nice and solid.
And please don't call me shortly. ;)

This is a Skidmarx belly pan. http://skidmarx.co.uk/
IIRC it cost me about £100. I was considering the OEM one but, like you, I couldn't justify the high price tag so I took a punt on the Skidmarx one and I'm very pleased with it. Decent quality (i.e. solid), easy to fit and not a bad colour match.
The tinted DB screen is a Skidmarx item as well.

By the way Gemma, love the avatar. Takes me back to my youth, I have the complete Chorlton and the Wheelies on DVD; but then I don't get out much! ;)
