Just found some tiny worm/catepillar type things on the windowsill, perhaps 50 odd. They were about 2-3mm long. Oh and black any ideas?

Moved just like catepillars?

Miss YC - does it make a difference? Will they be a problem?

depends how much you like bugs :p

I'd personally remove 'em while they're all in one place before they disperse, nobody likes infestations of any kind

They are alien invaders. They will burrow into you and make you pregnant. Then when the time is right they will explode out of your stomach and take over the world.

You read it here first folks.

Actually, just because I'm of a somewhat curious disposition, why don't you keep 'em in a jar or summat and see what they turn into and take a pic :D

(as long as they definitely can't escape, just in case what BikerBiggles says is true - then it may be a case of :smt068the blighters  )

Definitely unwelcome creepy crawlies. Get rid of em. Get em onto a piece of kitchen roll and flush em down the loo.

I say, take off.

Nuke the whole place from orbit.

Only way to be sure...

Things have taken a more sinister turn they are in the top drawer of the wifes chest of drawers - undie terratory. Seemingly only on the cotton stuff???

Pics attached, not of the undies of the worn things on the drawer.....not great photos but they are only 2-3mm each?

so just get rid and forget it? they are tiny though must be small moths?

I guess one came in last night dropped eggs and left us with caterpillars to look after like two kids aren't enough?

oh dear - holes will now appear in lots of things...clean clean clean everything and once you have cleaned it clean it again just in case and get some moth killer stuff.

The whole drawer contents went straight into the washing machine, but none of the subsequent drawers showed signs of moths, how can I be sure they are only there?

all bugs start off tiny and i bet its those horrible moths with white heads that crawl everywhere :pukel: (don't get me wrong i like big moths but that particular species irritate me!!!!!!!!)

I guess one came in last night dropped eggs and left us with caterpillars to look after like two kids aren't enough?

Lol!

Why did you not scoop 'em up and get rid last night when they were in one place on the windowsill  Now they'll be all over the place eek! rather you then me

these are what I mean

http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/Files/Live/UKmoths/01067UKIK.jpg

The adult moths have no tongues, and do not feed at all. They only live for about a month, and rely on food reserves built up during the caterpillar stage. Incredibly their only food for the whole of their lives is dry fabrics!

I'd get rid, sounds like they have a lot of munching to do! :p

Could they be millipedes, they are black, about the thickness of match stick, about 1 inch long and have tons of legs. They same family as centipedes which are brown.
