Hopefully I can attend your rideout Mike (:D)

Judging by the last one i organised, I shant bother until I've got a bit more money to spend fixing things :p

As long as we're free we'll be there.:D

I was thinking about posting a similar thread a couple of days ago

So then Mike - where is this rideout of yours going to be? :D

Mike2165

Er well. I don't mind sorting one out, but I recall Bigbaddad saying something about a rideout after Skips one, over to you Keith if you still want to organise one.

Sean_C

Nicely done mike :p

Skip

Yes I saw the slope-iness of his shoulders increase there! To be fair though Keith did say he would do one next

I'm offering...

Er well. I don't mind sorting one out, but I recall Bigbaddad saying something about a rideout after Skips one, over to you Keith if you still want to organise one. "cough"

TBH I don't have the time to do this. I have got the hatchings of a route going on, but until my house is finished I can't do any reccies.

Plowsie is offering.....I'm not sure what though :smt047

Could we not do the Rutland Ring again. It's close enough for the EAR and Midlands lots. Perhaps some of us could meet at Peterborough (A1/A605 services) and hook up with the others near to the start. If Pete and Lissa could take point as they are GODS on this road, this would be a no brainer:smt026. So if Pete and Lissa could perhaps set the date for when they are free, we will have our rideout.
Cheers.

I'm happy to go with Plowsie's route, (I think he's been working on one), the rutland ring, or I'll sort one, up to the peeps on here

Oh heavens...

... a rideout...

... when it's nearly october!
Aren't we normally all safely tucked up and hibernating by now?! ;)

It'll be fine and sunny then.....if Skip wears his textiles.

Skip

But its getting colder now so I might :)

Happy to do a decent-ish route. Or alternatively, after doing the TT road on Sunday in the rain, I would love to do the Rutland ring :D

Rutland ring sounds good to me, though I'll go with theflow ;-)

Anything is good for me. Anyone got a route map for the Rutland Ring they can linky me to?

plowsie

I have used the search option but can't find it, even looked on google. Its almost as secret as a sky box is a freeview box without its card.

Link to the thread. Don't be fooled by the title. The run was a work in Progress.

Lissa remembered the title. Not me surprisingly.

And the route.

Met at Sycamore Hardly Drivingson and finished with a cream tea at Rutland Water.

Sean_C

Actually, how about meeting at uppingham, doing the ring, and then finishing back at midland superbikes? B664 twice ;)

Look I know you're slow BBD and you have an even slower puncture, but it shouldn't take us two days to do a circuit! :smt119

Oooh, is she gonna come Sean?

Sean_C
13-09-08, 11:30 PM
Might do, if we can sort out boots for her, she can get by with my old lid and some spare gloves for now, which i know isn't ideal, but unless she's feeling flush.. We're going halves on all her gear, getting it as and when before her 18th, which is when she's actually *ahem* allowed on the bike. Apparently. Nobody told me... :p

Other than that, I'm not sure she should be subjected to such loons as you lot :p

Sean. the BMF is on next weekend, loads of bargains on kit.

You filthy bunch of miscreants!

Thanks for your pm Keith and your post Mike, I've spotted some boots on ebay her size that match her leathers well, so we might get them.

BigBaddad
14-09-08, 10:20 AM
Be careful with buying kit off ebay. I've found that sizes can be funny things. Whilst she might take a size 10 shoes, because of the shape of them she might need an 11.

Sean_C
14-09-08, 10:24 AM
Yeah, she's tried a few boots on so we know what she needs in most things. Got our eyes on a pair of sidi vertebra in grey and black, match her leathers quite nicely.

A woman with size 10 feet?!

Sean_C
14-09-08, 08:32 PM
Got some different Sidis in the end, so she's sorted for boots now :)
