Yamaha have got a new bike coming out, looks good. New FZ6R (completely new, not an FZ6). It's in the GSX650F/ER6F mould with upright riding position, adjustable riding position and bars, older R6 motor. I like it.

Hmm, don't like it. Not naked enough. :D
That tank looks quite high though.

one of the guys i work with just got a fz6 this week so i took it for the obligatory spin round the block only to find it to be a annoyingly nice thing to ride. its low speed manners are much much better than my sv650s and it felt light and nimble where mine feels heavy.
still to be broken in properly so a couldn't cane it but the standard exhaust is practically silent and the motor felt weedy low down but im sure like any yam it thrives on high revs and a new can will sort out the soundtrack.
have to say im slightly jealous of it as in some ways its a better bike than my sv. . . but i will never ever tell him that! (i told him my dyson was louder)

That is a yamaha I would like...
Looks alot better than the Suzuki GSX650F, which I also quite like

Ahh rats knackers, so they've called the euro one a diversion, lost half the fairing, made it bland instead of sporty looking like the US version, got rid of the smart split seat and hump and given it a smooth one piece. What a shame.

i do quite like the four branch manifold though so its a shame to hide it away under some fairings but I'm with you on the seat the us spec one looks a bit more aggressive with a high tail the UK one has a scrambler seat?
