Might have done if I was road legal. I gave up painting my mudguard, and sent it off to the local paint shop. they called at 4.55 to tell me its done, i can pick it up, but they close in five minutes at 5pm.. I'd be road legal otherwise :( Well, more road legal.

you have to have a mudguard to be legal :-o

Yep, you do indeed. Though I don't think it legally has to be very effective- seen those half mudguards on old american racers?

I think they're pretty cool, wouldn't do much for an SV in the wet though. How are you getting on with yours? Don't think I've seen you since you got it have I?

No mate you ain't lol, you've never seen me ride an SV. I'm just getting right with her, need to sort the forks out and the rear end, get some new boots on it and i will be happy :) So when is the cafe racer gonna be finished?

It'll be finished soon, nothing much to do. Got to put the fenda extenda on the mudguard when i get it, and do the final attachment of the speedo drive, that's about it. Give everything the once over, bleed the brakes just to make sure, nothing major now :)
It'll look a good deal different to when you saw it last ;)

Are you thinking of springs or a gsxr swap?

Springs is about all i can afford, ideally i'd like GSX-R USD's but we'll see. Looking forward to seeing it.
