View Full Version : SV650s K6 for sale (Doncaster, S.Yorks)
Hi, reluctant sale here of my 2006 SV. Its only a machine but selling it will hurt miles more than anything else i've ever sold for some reason! Anyway...
Very good condition, FSH, Candy Napolean Blue (Gorgeous!), 15k miles, 1st Mot not until June 2009, Taxed End Nov, SCORPION exhaust (legal but sounds awesome), crash protectors, excellent DATATOOL alarm/immob.
50-58 MPG, ultra reliable, cheap insurance especially with DATATOOL, only 1 previous owner, never dropped or scratched etc, regular dry use, cleaned after every 2-3 rides or if caught out in rain, stored in a purpose built shed, never reved until warmed up. Job change forces sale.
£2500ono

By the way you don't work in sheffield do you? Seen one just like this a fair bit...although it could of been a though.
Whereabouts in Sheffield... I've got one, but I've seen another on the other side of the river from work.

I've seen a pointy that colour parked in walkley quite often. Saw a nice yellow pointy yesterday I think all these sv riders think I'm mad when I accidentally find myself nodding at them while walking or driving!
Not me or the other one I've seen then... we're based down on Nursery St (near SMC)

Good luck mate. You replacing it or doing away with bikes all together?
sold.
was mcn that did it in the end but there was interest on here
albeit slightly after the mcn viewer got 1st refusal. thanks to the site
for letting me place it on here and keep bumping it tho!
not doing away with bikes dave, no way. i passed in march and got the
sv early april so ive just started really. i loved the bike and would have kept
longer but its prob easier to sell a 15k bike on than a 25-35k bike,
even tho it felt like it could easily rack up lots of miles.
could be tempted by an sv1000 next year, tho the z750, hornet
or even zx6 etc are tempting depending on mi finances. im looking forward to making another great choice tho.
the sv played a big part in taking me from nervous beginner to a confident and decent rider. its funny how most bikes could never shake it with a new rider on the twisties.
a legend of a bike.
