NOW WITH PICS and new price; £1350

I have decided to sell my SV650 to free up some money.

I have owned it for 15 months and have enjoyed every minute of it,so it will be a shame to see it go.

It has 15,700 miles on the clock and had a full service history up until 9,000 (it had 11,000 when i bought it and i have serviced it since then).

It is largely standard apart from the full micron system and hugger.

The only other mods i have made to this are some flush mount front indicators (originals will also be supplied) and i have fettled the forks a little. I have changed the fork oil for 15wt and i have put 17mm of shim on top of the springs to increase the pre-load. It now handles significantly better.

It has a Cyclone alarm with full remote starting so you can scare passers-by by pressing the remote fob from a distance:D , anti hi-jack function etc.

Any questions, send me a message or reply to the thread:cool:

I will add pictures later, thanks

Grinch would be interested how you got the remote working, but sounds like you didn't do it?

In the past three months, the bike has had a new battery and a new Tsubaki 'O'-ring chain.

The tyres are Bridgestone 020 and should be good for a few more miles yet.

It comes with the original owners handbook, service book, old MOTs, receipts and a haynes manual.

The bikes needs nothing doing to it and sounds awesome.

I still have the original exhaust for this by the way, which may as well be included in the sale.

I will drop the price to £1350, for a quick sale.

If nobody can offer me that, then i will keep it until next year.

When you say "remote starting", presumably that's the starting of the alarm, not the bike?
Don't get me wrong, starting a bike with a remote control would be cool, but I can just imagine some idiot trying to do it, forgetting the bike was left in gear, and watching it judder off its side stand and onto its side :p.

Looks like a nice bike though :D.

Edit: What's the Yoshi System sound like?

Micron system, and it sounds awesome. Everybody who has heard it(well probably not everybody who has heard it), thinks it sounds awesome.

Remote starting means just that. There is an extra button on the fob which you 'double tap' to start the bike, it's a cool party trick.

I'm not sure if it will try and start if it's in gear, i will have a go later and see (while stood next to it obviously).

TBH, i don't really bother with the alarm/ remote starting business, i just use the key as normal because when i park the bike up i always put the steering lock on anyway, which means putting the key in to undo it, remote starting or not.

It's just a party trick, but it does look particularly good at night (if you have left the lights 'on', when you previously parked up) as when you 'double tap' the lights come on and then engine fires up at the same time.

The bloke who installed it, installs Cyclone alarms for a living and looks to have done a very good job.

That sounds pretty sparkly - nice party trick, as you say :D.

No std SV will run in gear with the side stand down, so should be ok.

Ahhhh I hadn't thought of that.
