I recieved my Yoshimura R55 today and wasted no time fitting it this evening. Well what a difference, it looks 100% better and sounds louder, more raspy with a racey tone. Well happy as from the reviews from others i was expecting to be disapointed.. :smt026

Baffle out before it was even fitted,, took a pic to remind me i have one!!

Really pleased, can't wait to take it for a proper spin!! :cool:

Looking good and sounding good, definitely a must buy on the standard exhaust.

IIRC you got this from the states! Did you get stung on the VAT or other tax?

Yeh did get taxed, but nothing too bad.. Still saved £140 on getting the exhaust here even with the tax!!

Exhaust from the states including delivery was £260, Import tax and Parcel Force fees were £60 so thats £320. For the Exhaust alone here without delivery it would have been £460. Therefore a saving of £140 :D

My mate has a Two Brothers pipe on his 600 K6 and it's obscenely loud, even compared to yours. Hell, it's waaay louder than my bike, even when he's behind me. :(

Yeh i know K6/7's are loud, you can remove the CAT nice and easy on them, would like to do same on mine but don't want to butcher it yet..!!!

Yeh i know, it's the cat that dampens the sound. I like the tone more than anything. Had a ride tonight and it was very nice. Not loud enough though as has been said!! Something will be done about it!! :D

Ahhh the sheer joy of fitting a new can and truly appreciating the real sound your bike should be making , welcome to the club man :D
