Here are our forks from a 28k bike. Straight.

£300 the pair.

They have got over £180 worth of RaceTechGoldValve emulator and .90kg springs in. Plus £40 worth of OEM Preload Adjusters. To top it off they,ve just had fresh oil (20wt) and been checked over at JHS about a 1k ago.

This maybe an obvious question but what weight (of rider) are the 0.90 springs and 20w set up for?

Also, do the preloader adjustments allow changes in damping due to the emulators?

Thanks

Ricky, the front is set for a heavy chap I reckon. Maybe 14 stone plus. It was set for us riding two up. I'm about 12 stone.

The preload adjusters just set the sag. To adjust the emulators means taking the springs and emulators out.

If only I had the money Pete :(

Shame we don't take credit cards. :p

Thanks for the reply. However I am a bit of a lightweight nearly 11 stone. I didn't realize you couldn't adjust the emulators externally. I guess a newbie mistake.

It's not hard to do, mind. Just that it's not like external adjustment where you can just fanny about with them til it feels good.
