went ok last time, so same route, this time we will get to venny....... not going to have as many stops this time,(petrol stop in bedwas 10 miles from start, petrol stop and tea/toilet in llandovery or sennybridge, lunch at ellan valley visitor centre, petrol at crossgates) and every junction must be marked

meet at the TA layby bassleg(normal meeting place) at 10.00am point A is the layby point B tredegar arms pub

try to turn up on time with a full tank, but the first fuel stop is only 10 miles from the start, if anyone needs it



As always we will be using the Drop Off system to mark out route, which will be explained on the day

if you dont want to do drop offs, make sure you dont end up at the front

Yup, was a mix up. Both used the same pump, FA went first and didn't know which to pay for. Guess which I paid for.....SV650, 2 up or skinny boy FA solo? lol. But its ok, was only £2 in it. lol :D

Only unless it's horrendous. A little drizzle is fine really,(improve your wet waether riding) and normally people will post on here in the morning if they have decided to pull out.

Tail End Charlie.

He is always last of the group. Will stop if someone has a problem and if neccessary phone the leader to inform him about the problem. Means that there is no pressure to keep up with the leader. TEC should ideally know the route too.

Right Mr Hovis.As was mentioned in the week I have to go to a wedding party tonight.That starts at 7 but I have be volunteered to do some running about from about 5.30.,If we are getting to Aber for about 4 ,then that makes it very tight for me to get back home in time.The problem is ,the start and end of the ride are the closest points to mine ,so there is no chance that I can drop off half way through.
What a Bummer.
BUT...I will make a point of coming to see you in a few weeks and we can go for a beer

not a bad turn out, concidering the weather........

twas a bit cold coming over brecon becons, and there was snow on the hills, 1000 sheep road was a bit slippy too, but once we had passed brecon it warmed up a bit, the cafe in sennybridge is ace, good food at a great price,

nobody got lost ......which was nice

agreed,it is a long ride, but im not altering it, i could, but i dont want to. anyone from the midlands can leave at crossgates, this is what they did last time. which knocks about 50 miles off

i realise its a long way for people , but they dont have to come, (although DMC and binky came from birmigham last time)

i dont mind looking into camping/B&Bs for people, (although i bet lisa will be on to this;))

Just a thought for next time Hovis. If you copy the actual map link (top right (ish) of google maps) into your browser then bookmark it you can revisit it whenever you like and the route will always be there.

That's a point. I was thinking about my term time. I can always head home to Birmingham and make a weekend of it. But as always will go with the majority.

Any Saturdays in or after late April and i guess you'll get a far amount of attendees.
