Did some overtime today instead of yesterday , wrote an epic thread about yesterdays good ride and I didn`t want to tarnish my memory of yesterday , gonna treat the SV to a bit of a spit and polish and then chill out for the rest of the day . Plus all the idiots will be out in force today .

I've been out for a short ride (50mile) to Rocket Centre in Blackburn to have a look at the shiny new bikes.

Bought some rim tape :D going to fit it later and now relaxing watching the BTCC on ITV4

Just polished the Front header pipe on the SV , one of those jobs you wished you hadn`t started , shiny now :D , applied some Polish to the bike and leaving it on for 10 minutes .

We had a great day - were out on bikes yesterday too. Today we went to Largs, on B roads, and had an ice cream by the sea before heading home for roast beef. Poifect!- apart from me seeing two cars on a corner as one decided to overtake, had to brake but had a scary moment.

They were fine Shell! Usual thing, 'cos we were about 2 miles down a rutted dirt track, they had to be airlifted out by Helimed 99 from Helicopter Heroes and our new aircraft. I put some pics on the Heroes thread.

Spent yesterday tramping the wilds of the North Downs. Think I must have walked up and dwn the equivelent of box hill three times. It were luverly. Boots turned comedy halfway round - got to appreciate chewing gum and hair bands.
