Tickover Adjuster Seized

I am having problems adjusting the idle screw as it appears to be seized.

I have tried removing the airbox to allow some WD40 and some penetrating oil on the idle screw but this is not freeing it.

Any ideas on how to free it up, currently unable to get a set of plyers in there due to lack of room.

If you can't get to it with the carbs on, they'll have to come off.
As you're undoubtedly aware, the adjuster linkage is a spring which unsurprisingly won't transmit much torque, the couple I've seen with stuck adjusters moved easily once gripped with pliers etc.

For everybody else, give them a twiddle every now and again. Maybe even grease them if you're feeling really adventurous.

Sadly my idle screw has been seized since i bought the bike in February this year the problem is it now sits at <1000-Rpm which means the bike sometimes cuts out with the lights on.

Ill try again with some smaller pliers if I can get some.

I really don’t want to go down the root of removing carbs for such a trivial item.

I found removing and refitting the carbs a simple enough experience. Although it is a bit time consuming to adjust one thing.
