Carb heaters

Seems the attachments are broken on my set, so if you have a set of carbs, that are in bits, let me know, i'm not sure if the heater attachments are removable however ..

Yes they can be unscrewed I believe.

Having said that they are widely regarded as not much cop on the SV.Not worth bothering with,so best to use the fuel additive once in a while in winter when needed.
My SV is an import and doesnt have them fitted,and I use BP ultimate to keep things running on very cold/damp days.

Thanks for the replies Chris, and Biggles, she gets kinda cold over here in the winter, just planning ahead is all ... I'll see if i can get sum BP ultimate over here ..

Silkolene pro FST is what you want, an additive rather than just a more expensive fuel.
