Anybody know anybody round these parts who does a bike cleaning service? I'm looking for the Law/Kwakzzr kind of clean that I really can not be bothered to do. Nooks and crannies cleaned out; furry bits de-furred; surface rust bits polished and potentially even the lifting paint on the engine casing tarted up a bit.

I was hoping that if it actually looked pretty I may actually clean it myself once in a while afterwards.

Most professional car cleaning companies will do a bike as well.

Just take it off the road for the winter, take it apart and clean it yourself.

Job done. Satisfying as well providing you partner doesnt leave you for being in the garage constantly.

Unfortunately it gets used all year and no space in the garage anyway.

My usual trick is clean it, smother all non-brake related bits in UCF-50 then hose it off once in a while. However I think I'm building up a UCF-50/crud laminate over the bike.

Needs a weekend with muck-off, autosol, an old toothbrush and some patience. Unfortunately if it's nice enough to clean a bike it's nice enough to ride a bike and I know which I'd rather be doing.

Offer Law some money to clean it? :D

Try a car cleaning place maybe like G mentioned.

We did have a valet company within the WVAM, however looking at his website he seems to be taking a break.

Usless I know, http://www.moto-spa.co.uk/

He even did discount for IAM members.

Now that sounds like a plan. He could even sit on it and make rumming noises once he'd done the job.

Has anyone spoken to him recently? Is he planning on getting another bike or still pleading poverty?

Have you tried local bike dealers as they may get a valet company in for particularly grubby part-exs that they get in

I wish I could buy a bike but I can't afford one as I invested all my money in pots of jam. :smt022
