Ride out!

This is a follow-on from what has been started on the Spotted! thread.

So far, the weekend of 11th/12th seems a possibility with two requests for a late start (1pm... one of those being me cuz I'm supposed to be at a wedding do the night before).

That gives us a few hours of daylight to have a blast around =]

Ideas, gripes and suggestions please!

I've had enough of the "letting my hair down" recently! and the people I'd be going with... don't get me wrong, love'em, but they're f**kin crazy and I'm fairly sure I'd be in no fit state to be riding a bike the next day ;)

Any chance of an evening ride?? realistically you onlyt have about two hours of light but we could meet up in front of city hall - kebab and a blether about bikes for an hour, just cruise around the city??? just an idea? maybe even a nice burger from mcdonalds in carrick? Sunday would be better for me. Sat is not a good day for me i need to work on the other bike, but you guys do which ever suits.

Checked the weather forecast and it looks wet until Sunday - although it is too soon to get a decent forecast for the weekend.

No it wasn't too fast for me - I'm fairly sure it was for a few of the others tho.. .but that's the fastest I've ever consistently gone and feel a bit hypocritical saying it... but it was awesome :D

Just need to upgrade the bike now.. the SV just couldn't match Marky mark on the straights =]

if you want to watch the footage with the monitor on its side... no problem :) got the camera mounting horribly wrong so its kinda almost upside down :rolleyes:

slight problem (besides as mentioned above :smt015 ) with powering the camera but seem to have got some ideas with regard to powering it directly from the battery (the 8 x AA dont last very long) so before the next ride out he'll hopefully be an expert and we can have some good footgage (thats of course if he can keep up with us :D )
