You had to look that up........ :D
Where do you think the word Gladiator came from ?
I guess that make Glady riders Gladiators :P
Wonder if Suzuki is supplying one of these as standard with them

So is this replacing the sv???
Nope its will be in addition as its to compete with the ER-6 for the learners as its a tuned down version of the engine so I'm lead to believe.
More low end grunt probably so it pulls easy in most gears and a smooth simple power curve.

Ooh. And then possibly creating room for a more powerful SVR

So is this replacing the sv???
No, it is running alongside the SV next year. Who knows though, it could replace the 'N' if it is popular and maybe they might make an 'S'.
Odd name 'Gladys', targetted for the ladies maybe. ;)

some more pics than the original news post there interceptor :) gear indicator is a new addition - does the 08 sv have one of these? I'd like to see this become standard across most bikes

Funny, I would have pointed out that R1's are a way of saying you are hung like a hamster.

Would be interesting!!!! 85-90+BHP with gixxer bits would be cool!
I'm still waiting for someone to reffer to the B-King as a 'girly bike' moments before the 200 back tyre flattens them in comedy fashion.
B-King is the only bike I know of that can break down on a farm and get a spare tyre from a tractor
