A Southampton motorcyclist who was caught speeding seven times in one month, has received a ban, a fine and 39 points on his licence.

What a twit. Although I like the bit where he's got his feet over the license plate, bit of a challenge!

The idiot deserved it, he kept going back!!! Oh... and when you get to twelve points it stops counting, so he has been issued with 39 points but only twelve will show on his licence.

It is people like this that give motorcycling a bad name, I hope he can't insure another bike again.

They do show up on the Driving licence check we do at the roadside! Soemtimes we do get people with 20 points or more on a licence, but still entitled to drive! Strange but true :D

A bit harsh from the grumpy man isn't it?

Nope, sorry. TBH, I don't bother to remember stuff about individuals. Once I know they have an entitlement to drive, I lose interest!

Nope, he must have known the camera was there and still kept going back and acting like a kn*b.

It was a forward facing camera so he thought he was safe. Until they got the detectives on the case and identified him by his jacket. Doh.

Idiot. Both for doing it and for getting caught. Can't condone this but somehow I secretly admire it. Can't explain -

They will all show on his licence, but "totting up" only goes from the last period of disqualification, ie: now, so when he does get his licence back he starts on zero again. Does make an intersting read for any copper that stops him though, and might take a bit of explaining to a potential insurance company. In short...he's knackered for ages yet!

i thought they would give him his licence back but with 11 points on ut after the disqualification..

there is no excuse for those speeds in a 30..

ballsy... but just a bit too ballsy.. once or twice they might have got away with it, mind you I dont know how trouvello? sp - work so his seeds might not be accurate (although he will have been doing more than 30)

whats more if he has a jacket where he has 1 of 2 in the country... thats a bit posh aint it?

I think you mean wear all black gear/dark visor with no distinguishing logos visible. Works for me. Also, have some multi-coloured leathers hanging up at home to drag out if the police do decide to make a house call, that confuses them even more.

On occasion I have even been known to put a strip of insulating tape over the Suzuki sticker on the front of the fairing, just to make it that little bit more difficult to be identified.

In fact if we all now buy black gear/dark visor with no distinguishing logos visible we can all pretend to be Lozzo, or even better just tell the police we had lent him our bike at the relevant time......:D
