This is as it stands at the minute I think: Prices don't include P+P.

Mods, this is to be as open as possible as multiple people are asking for the same thing and I don't want to mess it up. Once this first rush is out the way, I'm going to aim for a list similar to Hooligans here: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=112151

weecorey:
Clocks 8k miles - £110
front fairing bracket - subframe? subframe would need 10 minutes straightening with a pole. Or two side brackets near the tank?
rear wheel - comes with PR2 tyre, with about 1k on it. So taking that into account, plus the wheel is in good nick, £140. Looking to avoid having to split the tyre and wheel really.
Radiator - Looks like a banana, don't think you will want that!
Clutch lever assembly - Do you mean the bit that bolts onto the clip ons? Lever has gone though (see below)

Thor
Both mirror assemblies.
£7.50 inc P&P
As discussed mate, these are on the way to you tomorrow. Just to confirm, you only want the bracket bit that bolts to the fairing, not the 'stalky' bit? If you could find a picture and circle it, that would be ace as I don't want to disappoint you.

jimmyg:
Right hand footplate and peg: plate is straight to my eye, lever stalk is slightly bent. Have footrest though. £40 and P&P

biker-daz
rear subframe - Looks to be straight to me. Can confirm when plastics off. Do you want me to have a look?
Front seat - can't see a problem with this. Its in good nick. £55 + P&P.
Haven't checked rear plastics and undertray yet, will do if I get chance this week but I don't finish work till 6 30 and its dark then. Can check at weekend if you can wait?

biker biker
LHS mirror - scratched. leave it? Recommend SV Spares or Robinson's for alternative.

Aidan
Remus can + link pipe. Retails for about £280+

Is scratched, but tbh a few minutes with a polisher and some autosol, should be fine. Sounds utterly utterly fantastic. Probably the thing I will miss most. :(. £150 + £12 P&P

sweepdoggydog
Full standard exhaust system.
I cut my system to fit my remus. So I have the silencer. However once remus is removed, I can then remove the header pipes, which would make a full system I think. Thoughts?

silent11
Remus spring. Would prefer to keep this for the remus can really.
Haven't got the small bolt for baffle, it needs drilling out my baffle as it is :)

I've taken some parts off the bike this evening (in the piddling rain and dark :( ) and have attached photos. Some pieces are muddy, but aside from that are OK.

The guy who was after the pillion grab rail, I have found a few scratches on it, and have attached some photos for you to have a look in the following post.

IF YOU WANT ANYTHING ELSE PLEASE POST IT IN HERE WITH AN OFFER. PLEASE DO NOT PM ME AS IT MAY GET MISSED.

I've never had to do anything like this before, so if prices are too low or too high, don't take the p1ss or be offended, just mention it here, and we can work it out. I'm not after shafting anyone, just recouping some of my money to pay my bus fare!

Thanks.
Tom.

Hi Tom, I was hoping to get the clocks for £75, tyre is no good to me as I want the wheel to put a wet tyre on for my race bike, if you do decide to split the wheel and tyre let me know I'd be looking to pay £80 for wheel and disc. I want the bit that bolts on to the clipons for the clutch lever, how much? I also want the front subframe/fairing bracket that holds the clocks and fairing, how much? Is the radiator leaking? Could you list a picture of it?

Regards, Emmet

Hi Emmet,

I will get a picture of the radiator, however I think it has leaked but will check.

I can split the tyre and wheel, but might be a few scratches as a result of my taking it off! Can do it for 90 if you want to meet halfway?

The clocks only have 8k on them, which I understand is irrelevant for your racebike, but someone with roadbike would pay about £100 for them, going by previous sales.

I can do the subframe (slightly bent where mirror screws through) for £40?

Clutch lever assembly for £35?

I understand about the clocks so I'll keep a look out else where, damaged subframe to expensive, Im watching good one on ebay at the minute for £4.99, clutch lever assembly way to expensive, I was thinking more like £5 for that. leave the wheel with me but if someone else wants it go ahead and sell it. Hope your not offended with my opinion on value of your parts. I know you want to get the most possible for them. Have a look on ebay for price comparisons.

Hey do you have the wheels for the bike still? If so I know someone who is after set, how much for pair?

MiniMac
03-10-08, 02:07 PM
As mentioned above, some people are interested in wheels. If they don't post for 3 days, you can have them

£280 for both or £350 for both with tyres ono. Don't really want to split them from wheels.

bump

Parts of the bike today include:

Both clipons, decent nick.
ECU
Battery
Clutch lever assembly (gone to sv650k4)
Gear selector fork thing (sv650k4)

I'm having trouble getting the rear plastics off, as under the 2 seats there are 6 bolts, 2 of which are pillion grab rail bolts too. They come off, but I'm rounding off the other 4 screws, which just appear to be Phillips.

Left hand rear plastic is cracked near rear light, but right hand side is fine. If anyone wants these, let me know.

Rear subframe looks fine, but until I get plastics off (could crack the brackets off?) I can't get it off the bike.

MiniMac

Also, top yoke and switchgear from both clipons (how do you get the wires out of them!)

More piccies.

Are the pieces in the 1st 2 pics undamaged? (clock surround and fairing bottom panel.

If so, how much for em?

MiniMac
06-10-08, 10:55 AM
Left hand tail piece is fine, its the right which is cracked, my error. Not sure on pricing for the subframe and undertray, make me a reasonable offer.

SoulKiss: The fairing bottom panel is in decent nick. I have a mint (brand new, sells for £80 at Robinsons) clock surround, as well as the one off the bike, which has a few scratches near the clocks.

Say £20 for scratched one, £50 for minter? And £30 for the fairing bottom panel?

Biker-daz.

Say £70 posted then? I'm having problems getting the plastics off, without rounding the screws, typical sodding cheese screws. I don't want to crack the brackets though, as they won't be any use to them then.

I have managed to get the left hand plastic off, but one of the brackets has snapped. In OK condition aside from that.
£40 + P&P if anyone wants it.

Also have ECU, HEL brake lines (never got round to fitting), OE rear brake line and bolts.

Allsuzuki, I can take the wheel off for you, however I need to get a paddock stand first (payday on the 25th)

Hi Minimac,
Could you give some info on the bike that you are breaking? I am looking for a silver front wheel (2003 or later), with the tyre if possible (thanks to Alisuzuki for putting me in touch with this forum). What sort of price are you looking for, etc? Unfortunately, I hit a rock that was flung on to the road after a horse-box clipped a corner too tightly and I need back on the road as quickly and cheaply as possible!

If it's not too mangled motoliner should be able to fix it for around £55+.
