Hi folks,

Not been on for a while but recently thinking about getting a different bike and selling my one.

What is a realistic price going to a dealer and or doing a private sale?

She is totally stock with just a Givi Top Box on the back.

Cheers

Rich

P.S. Lots of new faces round here these days!

About £1500, but I'll give you £1650 ;)

i think anything above 20K is quite high

I've owned perfectly good motorcycles with close to 100K miles on the clock. I'd quite happily buy a 750 or litre IL4 with over 50K on the clock if it has a decent service history or I knew its history was good. I'd be a little wary of smaller bikes with anything over 50K though.

I've done 14k in 2 years and both dealerships cited milage as the key factor in the part-ex price, even above the general wear and tear & scratches.

Weekend warriors with super low milage bikes ruining it for everyone else ;)

Annoying thing is if I had a car that would be low milage!

Surely that's got to knock at least a couple of hundred off the value?.... :D
