Went out for a little ride today & ended up at Rudyard lake. It was a really nice day, bit overcast, but nice & quiet. Sat & put the world to rights with myself :)

Was really good. Fairly quiet, should have taken a pen & paper, I'm sure I could have become the new poet Laureat by just emptying my thoughts onto paper :)

This is where Top Gear did their floating cars episode the first time round.

Ohhh I think I have been there with the 'Stafford Riders' crew, on a ride out last year. Quiff if you see this can you confirm?

Far as I can remember, Quiff & the boys were there last year Mike.

Tis really nice. Going up there during the week helped I think. Bet it gets busy at the weekend.

twas the place that bloke had the model aircraft carrier/warship that he got inside - WITH THE DOG !!.

I posted pics! .

he keeps it across from where colins bike is- behind the grills under that shed. sshhhh dont tell anyone

i know this place well... been fishing on her for about 10 years or more but have yet to go down on the bike. The pictures are at the dam end. where everyone parks. if you go in from the other end some 3 miles away you can ride about half way along the lake on a rode that runs along the waters edge!
