Hi guys...

Been a while (again!) and a lot has happened since I last posted!

I've been planning it for a while, and a few of you lot knew about it already, but I got married a couple of weeks ago - on Friday the 19th of September.

Thought I'd show you a few snaps taken by some of the guests!

The ceremony took place in an Elizabethan Barn at Michalham Priory.

Flippin' Confetti!! We were removing Lavender seeds from the pillow in the morning!

The happy couple - Champagne & Canapes on the lawn - how very civilised!!

My cheeks were hurting by this stage!!

Our rather cool wedding transport! There was a bottle of Champagne on ice for us to drink on the way to the Reception!! :D

So - rather happy!!

Unfortunately there is more news!
The 'credit crunch' has taken it;s toll and my business partner & I have decided to call it a day on our business - so I'm now looking for work!

For the wedding, we asked for B&Q voucher as wedding presents as we need to re-do the Kitchen. We were completely overwhelmed with the amount we got!!
So the other day, we ordered a nice new Kitchen at just the right time to benefit from loads of offers... Solid Oak doors & drawers, all new integrated appliances... 40% off cabinet carcases, 40% off door & drawer fronts, £500 off (voucher), 0% finance for 2 years, and they price-matched £250 off the apliances!!
This is being delivered on the 13th of December... Just after we get back from our Honeymoon......

....Which we also just booked the flights for!

We're having 3 weeks in New Zealand! :D:D:D

Karen (my wife!) has friends who live there, so we're staying with them when we arrive and finding places to stay/go when we're there!

Any way - that's me up to date...

How's everyone else!?

Yeah - the dress broke before she walked down the aisle!:smt093

The dress shop were excellent though - came out with a new dress (the one they had on the demo rail fitted her), modified like hers was and with the addition of shoulder straps - within 15 minutes of being called... Karen missed the soup course of her dinner while they fitted her in it!
They're now in talks with their lawyers to claim back the money we paid for the dress, get a replacement dress for Karen, get them to take back all of their stock of their dresses and getting them to pay for two thirds of our photographer's costs, as that was about how long the dress was nackered out of his time... We'll see what happens but if I have to talk to the manufacturer, they won't be happy!!!

Thanks all for your congrats! I'm still on a bit of a high (even with everything happening since!) and very happy!

Really looking forward to New Zealand...
Especially since yesterday!
We received an email from the friends we're starting the honeymoon with.
Not only have they recently bought a house (4 bedrooms, large garage/outbuilding, 3 acres of land, 25 minutes drive from Christchurch, 18 months old - just £180,000!!!!! How much would that buy you in the UK!?:(), but they've also been trying for a baby for the last 2 years with multiple miscarriages and lots of heartache for them both. Well - the email included the most vivid & clear 12 week scan Karen or I have ever seen - and she sees them every week at work!!
So - we're now going to be the first UK friends to stay in their new home and also to see them while they're expecting a baby!

Can't wait!
(Just need a job to get some spending money!)
