I dont relish the thought of you being on the A2 with all our Eastern cousins chasing back for the ferries.

Go steady

speaking of which.... saw someone get killed by a lorry on the A2 on the way to London from my girlfriends in Canterbury about 6 weeks ago. Guy from Faversham tried to flag down an Eastern European truck for some reason and it hit him. Filtered through a 500m tail back and got there before emergency services. He was in the road.... very upsetting. :(

im near allhallows so i use it very often. its not to bad but they often close it to one lane at random times near the gravesend. it makes a huge tail back and can take ages if your in the cage. :D

Use it every weekday from Gravesend right upto Blackwall Tunnel (which technically isn't the A2 anymore).

Isnt it? I know the bit form the sun in sands to the Black hole is the A102M and always has been.

The A2 exits the carriageway at the Blackheath turn off (Shooters Hill Rd) and heads towards New Cross. The carriageway turns into A102 if I remember.

Really? Whereabouts near ebsfleet? I've seen a red pointy around the Northfleet/Swanscombe area occasionally. Would that be you then?

Not guilty, I will be on my blue pointy when it gets back from the garage.

I use the A2 / M25 on a daily basis. Only just started using my bike as I haven't been riding long. The 25 feel really windy to me, although I'm still very inexperienced.
